Power's Beach Tract

The Powers Beach Tract is one of several long strips of land connected to the shoreline near Harkness Park. The lot includes about 100 feet of beach and reaches several hundred feet into the dunes and salt marsh [MAP] .

Piping Plovers nest on this beach every year. Twice now they've selected our properties as nest sites. As we find out more about other nests along the beach we'll try to post some details here. In fact, another nest was found on the State land near the creek June 18th (since enclosed in a protective cage).
